This last week has been taken up with some technical problems, partly to do with a faulty graphics card probably caused by a lightening strike. Even here in Switzerland it seems that the power supply cannot be assumed to be as clean as one would hope. Oh well. The other problems have been to do with getting my web presence to look as it should. Still a way to go, but making progress. It is all too easy for the time to be consumed by such technical questions rather than what I really want to do which is to develop my thinking and to build a body of linked knowledge along with others that are in this blogging business.
An article whose title has caught my attention is: Messy Knowledge. I have yet to read it fully, but the title sums up the way that I think knowledge is in real life. Its messy. My question with this excursion into blogging is whether I can transform the chaos of my own knowledge into something more worthwhile for myself and for others with web based technology. Of all the information technologies I have been exposed to so far, the Weblog seems closest to the way knowledge happens.
By the way, I found this link at elearningpost.com . Looks to be a good source of links and comment about education and the use of the web.
